Joe purchased Springstone Farm in May 2012 and started a local honey and egg business. He also began to rescue and provide sanctuary, rehabilitation and forever homes for neglected and unwanted animals. More: Farm & Rescue

​International Technology Consulting
From 2004 to 2016, Joe managed technology projects for disaster-affected and marginalized communities in Central Africa Republic, Haiti, Ghana, Kenya (Dadaab), Liberia, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. In 2022, days after the Russian invasion, Joe rejoined his NGO and UN colleagues to manage the Ukraine PCC Crisis Response. In 2023, he began to support other  projects in Kenya, Uganda, Morocco and Puerto Rico.
